PAYMENT AND CREDIT TERMS
Cremation and Funeral Alternatives (CAFA) provides this information to all clients so they are fully informed of their payment and credit rights and responsibilities. These policies are essential to maintaining the low prices that benefit all CAFA clients.
Payment in full is due at the time of service. Disposition will not be performed until said payment is received by CAFA.
CAFA accepts the following forms of payment:
Cash, money order, cashier's check, or certified check;
Transaction authorized by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or Novus;
Proof of eligibility for and signed assignment to CAFA of benefits (e.g. life insurance or burial assistance grant); or
Personal check (with proper identification).
Estates: CAFA does not invoice estates unless the attorney signs the funeral contract. You are encouraged to apply for reimbursement from the estate if one is established.
Contracts involving shipment of remains must be paid by the time of shipping. Airline and consulate charges (like other cash advances) are best estimates only; the buyer is responsible for paying the actual, documented cash advances incurred by CAFA for the buyer.
